The curtains are set to fall on Accra Stay By Plan Season 2, and the beloved sitcom is gearing up for a finale that promises chaos, comedy, and a dash of heartfelt drama.
Season 2 has been particularly notable for its exploration of love, family, and tradition, with a significant focus on Dee, one of Daddy Joe's children, and her relationship with Abu.

Airing on Ghana's Most Loved Storyteller Akwaaba Magic, this A-list cast-driven series centered on the children of the late Daddy Joe and the quirky tenants of their bustling compound house has kept viewers laughing and guessing all season long.

This season introduced fresh faces, like the vivacious new tenant Candy taking over Titi’s room, but the spotlight has firmly been on Dee and her rollercoaster romance with Abu.

It all kicked off when Dee called a family meeting to announce she’d found love and was ready to tie the knot. Not everyone was on board as her step brother Joshua balked at Abu hailing from distant Savelugu Nanton, stirring early tension.

Yet, Dee’s uncles, Agyingo and Mickey, eventually warmed to the idea, stepping up to welcome Abu into the fold. The compound buzzed with wedding fever, with tenants Mr. and Mrs. Dadzie racing to Dulcie to snag the sewing contract for the big day.

But in true Accra Stay By Plan fashion, things spiraled fast. The uncles compiled a traditional marriage list, roping in other relatives to add their demands—think outrageous items like a PS5 and a herd of sheep and goats.

Dee’s journey, though, has been the emotional core. Her determination to marry Abu despite the odds revealed a softer side to the sitcom’s usual hijinks, forcing even the most skeptical relatives to rethink their stance.

Dee’s mother and uncles later trimmed it down, but the original, over-the-top version slipped into Abu’s hands. Furious at the perceived greed, Abu called off the wedding entirely, leaving the family reeling.

Now, Dee’s stepmothers, the Dadzies, and the rest of the clan are in a frantic scramble to mend fences and salvage the union. Will Dee and Abu say “I do,” or is this love story doomed to crash and burn?
