The recent episode of What Will People Say featured John, a businessman who deals in land, houses, and cars. John described himself as a sapiosexual, someone who is attracted to intelligence, and made it clear that he was looking for a partner who is smart, thoughtful, and mature.
As usual, the show began with altered images of six admirers. John had to eliminate one based only on the photos, with the audience also given a chance to vote. In the end, he chose to eliminate admirer number 2.
The remaining admirers were brought on stage for a round of questions. John asked about their financial plans for the next year, and most of the ladies gave detailed and impressive responses, with many of them already running their own businesses. He also asked questions about their relationships with their parents.
Admirer number 3 was asked why she was still single, while admirer number 4 was asked about her thoughts on tribalism in relationships. All the women responded with maturity and confidence.
John then narrowed his selection to three final admirers, who were each given a task to perform. One acted out a situation where John had offended her, showing how she would handle such a moment. Another performed a funny love rap that made John and the audience laugh.
The last admirer was asked to act out her reaction if her mother-in-law did something she did not like. Her response was respectful and calm, and it earned a round of applause from the audience.
At the end of the show, John chose the lady who acted out the mother-in-law scenario, showing that he valued respect, emotional intelligence, and grace.
