Amoanimaa is an earth goddess from Ghanaian mythology, revered in times past as a nurturer and protector of the earth and its people.
At the age of 24, Amoanimaa, the youngest of three siblings, is deeply in love. She and Sakora, having grown up together, have shared a bond that has deepened into love over the years. Amoanimaa's tranquil life takes a dramatic turn when her father, the Nsuo deity, chooses her to inherit his powers. Recognized for her kindness and compassion toward humans, she is seen as the rightful heir, much to the dismay of her eldest brother, Antwi. Feeling cheated of his birthright, Antwi vows to reclaim what he believes is rightfully his. In his quest for power, he allies with the Dabo deity and together they launch an attack against Amoanimaa. However, Amoanimaa defeats them, and in the aftermath, Antwi disappears, dissolving into the air.
